Secondhand RM212 fridge

Post by domiles1 »

I'm looking at a fridge in a camper with a burned-out engine bay in a scrap yard. Just wondering how to check out the gas ignition because it looks like its an electronic ignition. Do i just need to connect up a battery to it and see if it goes click click click? Planning on running fridge mostly on gas as I have no leisure battery and usually go where there's no hook-up!

Well yes, but I'd go a bit further than that. I'd hook a bottle to it and ensure the burner ignites too.
