cab carpet glue

Post by lhd »

I need some glue to stick down some original cab carpets over the wheel arches, I have tried that spray adhesive on the rubber that was in there previously and it was crap, peeled off within a week or two. What I want is something like the original glue which goes hard as the back of the carpets are the hesian type and seem to be resin coated to keep their shape....

Any ideas?
Rob.

Evo-stik?? Says on the can that it'll work on some porous surfaces provided they are pressed and held together while the glue is still 'wet'.

Yes I must admit it's nowhere near as good as the old stuff (bleedin' HSE again). Should still work though....

I sniff PVC conduit glue this days - available from any electrical wholesaler :ok
