Pierburg accelerator linkage

Post by Zebedee »

Does anyone know how the ball and socket is supposed to stay connected?

At the moment it works for a couple pressues of the accelerator pedal then comes apart. :(
I assume that when i removed the weber carb to replace it with my rebuilt pierburg i broke something as i found a bent wire clip thingy and have no idea how it attaches back on.

I've got a bent and broken bit of springy wire if thats it? Theres a bit inside the socket on the linkage too which i assume is the rest of the broken bit. :(
