head leak?

Post by m3nutter »

ive recently re fitted the RH head to my DJ2.1, new top and bottom O rings - head gasket and water jacket gasket and a new SS exhaust from Mr B :D

the van has been sweet as a nut until this morning when it started to miss. under load at about 2-3k revs it misses. tickover OK and higher Revs ok. do you think thats a water leak into liner? :(

cant see any emulsion anywhere yet and no steam :(

highly unlikely oil/water mixing unless oil cooler goes..

I'd be checking al electrical connections that were distsurbed during the fixing.. worth doing a couple at a time..
not anything silly like an ht lead not on right etc...
