Uploading Photo's...please can someone help!!!!!

Can someone please give me a dunces guide to uploading photo's onto the forum i.e. the 'FOR SALE' forums. I have tried reducing the sizes of the photo's but the link no longer exists!! I need a step by step guide please.

store them on to photobucket (you will need to open an account with them but it is free). then copy and paste the image code on to the forum thread.
