Speedo OK but Mileage stuck
On way to MOT today noticed that although the speedo works fine the mileage did not change. I assume this is a faulty / broken mileage counter? Common problem / fixable ? or replacement job?

Re: Speedo OK but Mileage stuck
There (at least on my early Van) is a little cog on the back side of the speedo that moves away from the worn gear stopping the millage working.
I pushed it back and everything worked but it moved away again, you could clamp the shaft a little to stop this.
hope this helps
cheers

I had the same thing happen on mine. Its either going to be the green cog coming out of mesh with the worm drive or the silver metal cog spinning on the shaft.
