What engine is it??

Hi

I have recently purchased my van and I am having a bit of trouble identifying exactly what engine is in it. It is a 1.6td supposedly from a golf, however I can't find any engine identification codes! I have found lots of different numbers (pictures below) but I think these are just casting numbers, any help would be greatly appreciated!
The engine also has a few issues, leaking oil and fuel, as well as the exhaust being very white does not sound too great does it?!

Well...the injection pump is from a jx engine,have a look at the label on the left hand side of the cam belt cover..

You have a 1.6 td syncro air filter housing.
The engine is not from a golf but an earl diesel audi. You can tell this by the oil filter angle. The diesel pump is a 1.6TD JX same as the inlet manifold
so presume the turbo and exhaust manifold is aswell.
Probable an SB engine code.

First step drain the coolant to confirm if oil is getting in.
