Rebuilt Rear Storage Area

Post by Titus A Duxass »

After putting up with naff hinge doors and a flimsy build that squeaked I decided to rebuild the storage area at the back.
From this.

Added a dividing wall and end piece to the left and right hand sides.

Cut access holes in the end pieces and decked them.

Then decked the centre section and added a drawer.

Which slides out.

The centre section and drawer are easily removed for access to the engine.

Just got to find some handles and seal everything with some varnish.

How beautifully simple :idea. I have been doing almost exactly the same for the past four days and I'm barely past the half way point, clearly overcomplicating things (as usual)!
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it!

I have a large sheet already but normally the mattress sits on the top.
