Rebuilt Rear Storage Area

After putting up with naff hinge doors and a flimsy build that squeaked I decided to rebuild the storage area at the back.
From this.


Added a dividing wall and end piece to the left and right hand sides.



Cut access holes in the end pieces and decked them.


Then decked the centre section and added a drawer.


Which slides out.


The centre section and drawer are easily removed for access to the engine.

Just got to find some handles and seal everything with some varnish.

used to have drawers like that, handy space to have.

looks good,how about putting in some of that anti-slip matting to stop stuff sliding about,we can get it from 'pound shops' here

How beautifully simple . I have been doing almost exactly the same for the past four days and I'm barely past the half way point, clearly overcomplicating things (as usual)!

I have a large sheet already but normally the mattress sits on the top.
