(I've had a look, but may be missing it, if it already exists) We are planning a short jaunt to France in the summer and just wondering what spares are recommended to fling in a corner just in case. What do you carry to get you out of a potentially holiday ruining moment? we have a 1.6diesel if there are any model specific recomendations from experience
Most of travel will be in UK to be honest as its 500 miles to the ferry port, and we are only gonna do about 400 in total on the other side
cheers

Assorted nuts & bolts.
Spare alternator brush pack.
Fuses.
Black bodge tape.
Cable Ties.
Wire coat hanger
Plus your mandatory items (bulbs, etc).
For some reason I also carried a spare drive shaft.

Plus spare throttle and fan belts but I guess that you will have those already. Bon voyage.
