In my old t25 i had a neat fold down seat behing the passenger seat. It was a steel frame and had the same trim as the rest of the van. In my new t25 i could do with the same as i have 3 children.
This is the link to volkszone where it was for sale, you can just see in a couple of pics.
from what i was told when i was looking for one, is that it's a buddy seat from a viking conversion. Rocking horse poo springs to mind, i never managed to find one.
You can get other types, just put vw buddy seat in ebay, something normally comes up like the ones i've got

then yes they were fitted to the early eighties 'Xplorer' conversion with the Viking spacemaker elevating roof. They are rocking horse poo - took me four years to get me mitts on one
E D I T Just opened your vzi link - yes, that's the Xplorer. Why did you sell it?
I have some parts of one of these in my shed from a bay window I think, its a lot lighter weight with a fold down leg from memory, i'll have a dig if anyones interested

Looks like this will do the trick

Hi Lloydy
Is there any chance I could also have a look at the pics of your seat fixings? I bought one of these on ebay.de recently, but I have a panel van with a ply floor so I'm not sure whether I'm missing some fixings (he supplied the battery box fixings but I'm not sure about the ones for the floor).
For anyone looking for one on ebay.de, keep searching for 'back2back sitz' or 'b2b sitz'. They're often listed under bluestar/whitestar as I think these were mainly what they were fitted to. My seller was in the T3 trade and was really good - could dig out his name if you anyone wanted. He didn't advertise postage to UK on his listing but I asked nicely after I bought it, and he sent it for aout 25 euros with hermes.
Ah! The search function delivered the answer to my questions in the end!
At the risk of hijacking someone elses thread to answer my own query, carrying on my search led me to this fantastic thread on how to install one of these jump seat. I thought I'd cross post in case anyone else was interested...
