No indicators

I've just hooked up the trailer and plugged it in and now have no indicators. Un-plugged the trailer and still no indicators although the hazzard lights still work ok. Is there a seperate flasher unit for indicators and hazards or do they run of the same one? It has an early fuse box,checked fuses and all ok.

So you checked fuse No 11 and it was OK

the flasher unit is first on your relay board is it OK?
Has any wiring melted, does the unit make a noise when the indicator is on?

oh dear! just remember that "VW magic" normally stops working in the dark, specially if its raining, and you are in your best clobber going somewhere important!!
