Propex heater problem

Post by chappers »

I have an old Propex Heater X1, it starts and goes through the ignition cycle and starts to get warm then it cuts out after approx. 10 seconds (lockout illuminates on control panel), i have been told by propex that it may be the flame sensor, problem is that i have tested the flame sensor, and cleaned it (hoovered out the heat exchanger also), still got a problem

anyone got any ideas?

check for
blocked heat out vent or pipe
blocked zorst
blocked air intake
low battery
low gas pressure or supply
gas leak or fumes getting back into the heater.
