Post by nesty »

Has anyone here got a intelligent split relay charger from raw components?

Mine been fine for a year. Now it appears to given up charging the leisure circuit. The starter getting all the charge.

Anyone else had this issue?

I use one of theirs - no trouble in three years. Is the voltage getting high enough to switch it? The only trouble with these models is the fact that you cannot adjust the switching voltage.

I can hear mine switching over when the engine is off when the solar panel goes high and low due to sun light fluctuations. You most probably have too much noise normally to hear it switching (if you have a normal VW engine! :) )

Just to give an update. I sent the relay to Raw Compenents. Great guys there. Nothing wrong with it, but they refurbished/upgraded it whilst it was there.

Live wire fuseholder faulty!
