Anyone ever cut a JX exhaust up?

Big lumps of metals and spanners.

Anyone ever cut a JX exhaust up?

Post by ELVIS »

Got one of the newer ones made by Eberspacher. Straight thr design with perforated tube thr middle.
Im guessing there is chuff all wadding etc inside but has anyone ever cut one open? Considering cutting it open + packing with exhaust wadding.

They are only £69.50 for a new one from GSF if you wanted one, I bought one for a mate with my special card yesterday  I bet Dave can get it for the same price from them

Mines brand new and i paid a lot less than you

Havnt even run it up yet - still need to finish downpipe. A mate runs same set up on his Gti and it sounds like a scooby-wayyyyyy to noisy for my liking!

Was thinking of cutting it open and getting some wading etc from Merlin to pack around the centre perforated tube to quiten it down.

My Gti will be running, one day.........................
