500 mile round trip to Lancaster last week - averaged 23mpg on lpg @ 55mph - roughly 44mpg petrol equivalent.

Must state that after starting this thread there seems to be a lot of variation between petrol lumps but diesels seems to be retaining quite even figures

2.1dj auto caravelle 25mpg if crusing really carefully at 55 on motorway. Scotland to Kent got only 20, needed service, sticky caliper, hole in pipe to idle stabilizer, worked out this cost me £30 extra! Should have seviced it before the journey!. I notice the wind direction makes a big difference and mine isnt a high roof, the people in hi roof campers must hate head winds!
