Hi All,
Had a lovely time at Bus Types, ( nice to meet however was there, allready forgotten names oops. ) but whilst there I spent some time fitting bits to mine to make it like everyone elses. Basically all the bits to vent air to the rear and keep the kids cool.
This has worked to a fashion but the all the important flap to allow air into these new channels is nowhere to be seen.
Now mine is a converted panel van, by Autohomes, that only has 3 heater control sliders. I can only assume that you guys with the posh vans have 4?
Is there a way to allow air into the rear channels with a low spec van? Can I move or make a flap to get air to the rear?
If anyone has any pictures of heater box with the dash out that would be helpful.
We are going to France in August................hot hot hot so any air for the kids would be good.
Help me......
Mark.

cant answer that question, but look out for rear side windows for a late caravelle, they have permanent ventilation built in

Thanks LLoyd,
Those look great and i had thought of them but don't they fit genuine caravelles, mine is a converted panel van with different rubber seals?
Anywho don't want to find new rubbers nor tint them to match my van, so the search goes on..........any photos of heater units?
Some of you good folk have the real mcoys out there...............I just want to copy you!

you need to get a minibus/caravelle / passenger carrying heater box
the chassis has the ducting but your heater box dosent have the flap which as you say is the 4th lowest lever.
you need the vent trims for the door pillars also and the ducts above the sliding door and opposite need blocking , foam sticky on caravelles

Thanks Billy,
Think I'll just give up on this idea then, everything you mentioned has been fitted but foolishly I thought there would be a hidden flap in the front.......doh!
Never mind, fitting a new heater box is not worth the effort as I expect its dash out time.
Thinking of other tat to waste my money on instead, mmmmmmm big bumpers maybe?
Thanks again,
Mark.
