Help all my dash warning lights stoped working!
erm i have just had the dash out
because the charge light led wasnot working so no charge...so i swoped the oil led over in its place but now nothing works...o dear?
anyone know where i can get the leds btw?

Yep silly me i missed that connector off!... :oops:
charge light still isnt working :cry:
coulds do with some led's?
where from?

the ribbon on the multipin could be damaged.

Ill have a close look at it...i may have to rig a separate supply to that blue alternator wire
any ideas?

The LED needs to have the alternator connection in good condition (it relies on the alternator to connect to 'ground' a such). The charge LED uses a common 12V supply for all LEDs that need it such as the oil pressure and I doubt that a lack of 12V is your problem. If replacinmg the LED and inserting it the correct way (they are polarised) hasn'r made any difference you need to remove the wire that comes from that LED and terminates at the alternator and connect it to a good earth point. If it lights up with ignition 'on' the problem is at the alternator end. If it doesn't light up and the LED is definitely known to be OK then you need to check the condition of the ribbon multiconnector copper tracks at the back of the dash.

Thanks it does light up when earthed at alternator ...so i need a new alteranator probs?

All sorted working fine 14v and dash charge light working too..:)
flashing temp light...not going there!
