URGENT QUICK REPLY NEEDED i cant get cold air

i cant seem to stop hot air comming into the cab of my 2.1 wasserboxer is there something i can do as im going away in a couple of hours and it gets roasting in there . ive moved the controls in the dash but no...... joy help please

Several possibilities:
Cable has become detached from the control lever
Cable has become detatched from the heater valve under the cab floor
Cable has 'kinked' and just bends when the control lever is moved
Heater valve is worn internally and can't totally prevent warm water entering the heater matrix

Heat control is the centre lever, and 'cold' is having the lever as far to the left as it can go.

i'll have to have a look for the manual valve underneath but for now thanks to you all for the help much appreciated will let you know how i got on after the weekend
