Fuel Gauge- not working

Post by northantsandy »

Fuel gauge has ceased to work, garage have had a look and say that the actual fuel gauge instrument on the dash has broken. My question is is the fuel gauge instrumentation separate from all of the other gauges in the dash or is it integral and subsequently will I need a whole new dash pod? Where can I get them from?

Petrol, he doesn't think its the sender unit on the tank, but thinks it is the gauge itself on the dash.
