Engine smoking on start up

Post by aliandphil »

We have a 1986 T25 with a 1.9 petrol DG engine. It's done 140k but had the heads replaced at 100k. It runs fine and is economical (25-30mpg). It doesn't use a great deal of oil, but at start up burns a big cloud of oily smoke for 10-20 secs. Any suggestions?

Thanks
