Is there a certain length of pipe to pump the water through to the tap, my pump works but doesnt seem to be following properly?

The pumps are pretty strong. They can be used for showering etc. If it's not flowing properly it could be a dodgy pump, blockage or very weak battery. Probably one of the first two.

ran the pump in the sink and it worked fine, connected a shortened pipe and it did only when i sucked the water up through the tap to get it started. Looks like a dodgy pump then :|
