Hi,
I have 1.6 D 1984 Van and last weekend we overheated we had a small leak around the coolant level probe, now fixed, and a new metal rad type cap to the tank filled up with water and bled the system as acoording to Baxter on the brickworks site but now we have noticed small bubbles coming up from the expansion tank behind the no. plate, didnt notice it before because the old cap was not letting the pressure out.
Is this normal to have these bubbles, as when i take the small feeder hose from the two tanks no liquid is coming through but when i connect it back you can see the bubbles feeding up the expansion tank.
Thanks
Tez

Got the cap from Brickworks in the week, it seems to be working as it is now allowing the bubbles into the top tank.
