Did a "Ringo" last night.
I kipped in the Westy rather than do long drives to and from work. I found a nice place to park up by the sea and even had a neighbor

Fair play Jarrooood.
I dont envy that bloke in the car either!
Doing this for the last three years has saved me in the region of £10-15k not to mention saving me a LOT of travel time. Also, it's nice to be in your van and not some horrible b&b.

I drove round the roundabout for the airport on my way to Hove. I actually love sleeping out that way now and considering advertising in the area as I love it in Hove and Shoreham. You should camp down near the fort if you get stuck for something to do one weekend its ace, I have done it a couple of times now and its been really good. It gets quite popular with night fisherman though but apart from the odd slamming door every few hours its quite peaceful. I am going to bring my kayak down next time I go

Re: Did a "Ringo" last night.
Lived in my Westy Bay 4 nights a week in the eighties while at Loughborough Uni. Parked up in the car park and security never twigged, or chose to leave me in peace. Couldn't have financed my Msc any other way, ruddy cold in the winter with snow on the roof and no heater but I did get brownie points for being first at my desk in the morning.
