bus is finally painted

Post by melmelody »

hi all,

finally went to collect my bus from the paint shop today and it looks like they have done a top job.Sorry no piccies yet as i forgot my camera but i,m going into work in the morning to start the rerbuild so promise i'll take some then and post them up tomorrow. one thing i will say though is that i wasn't impressed that they sprayed my new stainless exhaust and then tried to deny it was them.it was only when i explained that it was new and has never had paint work since ive owned it that they kind of bowed their heads and ran off looking for some thinners to clean it all off :run :run :run cheeky german so and so's. :) :) :)

Nice

I'm liking the lowered with steel wheel look, seen it a few times now.

hi eat custard .the colour is original its just been repainted . i didn't want to change it as its a ball ache to do all the apertures and engine bay if you want to do a full colour change properly so i just went forthe original colour.as for the steel wheels and lowering cyrus the bus had been lowered when i bought it but i don't know how much or what kit has been used. i do know that if you go over railway crossings or speed bumps to quickly the mud flaps scrape the ground on the front end.the wheels are syncro rims with 205 tyres fitted and it seems to ride nice
