No. One. Suppose you could crush 'em in if they're really small. If you're talking 'baby' then a carry cot on the floor seems to be a fairly common choice.

I have no children so this is just stuff I've read on here

we have accommodated 2 adult & 2 kids in our tin top (& 3 dogs  ) but it is rather cramped!! my kids are big kids

you could possibly put a cab bunk up & then arrange another bed across the front seats, i'm sure it can be done - of course this only works well if the kids are shorter than the width of the van.....this weekend my 14 yr old will mostly be sleeping in his cab bunk with his knees by his chin

it is doable but if your kids really aren't big enough to go in a tent every now & then (if you go away for a week or two) I would seriously consider fitting a pop top or high top (but tin tops do look cooler! )

We're in the stickiest situation since Sticky the Stick Insect got stuck on a sticky bun. -hmmmmm

:rofl im not sure you should tell social services! - how about a thread on biggest people who've spent a night in cab bunk..

We alo have a difficult problem in that my stepdaugher is an 11 yr old streak of pi**, and we also have my son who is on 18mnths.

She needs a little more privacy so I have made a bed base and have a cot mattress so the boy sleeps in the pop top sideways over the cab, think hell be ok til hes 4 or 5 ive just designed a full height safety gate which will be complete this weekend (when its done ill post photos, and will make the gate plans available to any interested people) and his sister wont wanna come by the i dont suppose, shell be busy wrecking the house...

But going back to the subject, I thin you need a pop or high top...it can gt mental cramped in these on a wet day let alone a tin top!

How about pitching a tent alongside? The Quechua Base seconds is pitched in no time and you could have one adult/one kis in't van and same in the tent. We use it instead of an awning.

We do this (same tent)...have a "double bunk" in front - cab bunk on top, and we turn passenger seat and have a simple ply board that goes across front seats with a cushion - but the kids are little pains and whoever is on bottom just annoys the one on top so we now usually use a tent for at least me (i then get a quiet night) and wife and kids in main bed 'head to toe', ore one of them in the front.

the Base seconds is only £40 just now too...

I have just put in a Parcel Shelf bed. I didn't want to put in a cab hammock, seemed like it would be really high as we have high backed chairs so after I read a thread on here from last year I decided a parcel shelf was the way to go.

I constucted it today and will be testing it next Saturday. Just has a cot matress on it for now, My daughter is only 16months.

We are expecting to be able to sleep 2 kids on there when we have 2, or you could have a cab bunk too!

I've created a sleeping platform that goes from the rear of the van to the front seats (when front seats slid forward) for our syncro.

sorry for the bad photo's, it's all i've got.

We have a couple of other campers so I just wanted something simple for the syncro. Works well for us on an overnight stop, our kids are 8 and 6. Only made out of wood currently to prove the concept. When not in use the bed pieces stack up in the back with storage underneath or un-bolt the rear fixed bit make better use of the van space. I'm going to extend the bed forward up to the dash to give us a bit more space. only take a couple of minutes to assemble for one person.

So not everyone's cup of tea but fits perfectly for how we use our syncro.
