Gas reg`s

Post by dandaz »

I am in the process of redistering the camper in France ,the gas certificate says I have to have a constant flow of air ,in the delher there is a top window on the hightop I can remove, I have to put a vent somewhere below ,my French was getting a bit tired when he was explaining where I can put the lower vent...

Do you think I can put it in the floor or below the rear seats [was the heater but now removed to renovate ,meaning in will be in a box for years]...

I do not want to cut holes in the side of the van...

[just to add I have to put another vent where the gas bottle is]

any help or gas safety website are welcomed...

As propane and butane gases are heavier than air, you would need to put them in the floor as if you have a gas leak it would not rise!!

yes mr bricholarge... :D

Does anyone know what a low pressure regulator runs at the one I have to replace is 50m bar I have seen one at 28 mbar is that low or is there lower?

all he has said on the form is replace with a lower regulator...

Done all the other things [including cutting two big holes in my van], this is the last hurdle ,hopefully..
