piezo ignition cable for Rm182B fridge - refurb???

Morning All,

I've removed my fridge to try and identify reason for the ignition not working. The ingnition cable's casing at point of the ceramic sleeve is split and I can see wire core. The piezo is a manually operated one, when clicking the piezo I don't get a spark, I do however get a little shock though! Having trawlled through some web site it seems that I'll have trouble getting hold of a new cable with a sparker. Does anyone know if is possible to refurbish the ignition cable and sparker?

found some heat shrink cable sheath which seems to do the trick!
