Yipee, now the head gasket has gone

Post by NicBeeee »

Hi all

One thing after anouther since I bought the van, it now seems the head gasket has gone, is it true that it is not worth trying to remove the head bolts as they tend to break. Is it generally the top bolts that sheer off. The engine is still runable so I can get it up to temperature and try to loosen the nuts whilst still warm if you think this may help.

Any help gratefully recieved.

No worries,

New engine coming today, well an old one anyway.

Cheers
