Front stub axle off-side suitability?

Post by marandali »

Hello there,

My question is - Will the Front stub axle (off-side) from an Aircooled t25 1980 be ok to put on my Watercooled t25 1988?
Hope someone can shed some light on this for me...

Cheers all,
Mark

Nope, one's 'early' and one's 'late' steering/suspension. the early system has a totally different radius rod/lower ball joint system, wheel bearings, plus the brake calipers are different so probably the mounts will be wrong. That's just an immediate off the top of my head.
