Hi,
I'm rebuilding an 1981 2.0l (CU engine) air cooled engine. I split the crankcases and found the 6 main bolts had plastic spacers which aided the alignment of the two crankcase halves (I guess that is the purpose). Not sure what they are called but I need to replace them. I have photographed one: http://s1208.photobucket.com/albums/cc3 ... G_1980.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Does anyone know where I can get them from and provide me with the correct name for them?
Thanks
Chris.

Just found the 'parts' on the Vagcat web site they are known as a vibration damper.
Just thought I'd let you know!
