these traction batteries have a life twice as long as so called "leisure" batteries, give out twice the amphour power equivilant size.. and give out amps for ten times longer when used.
I like those sort of maths if you are touring around with out hooking up to the grid and paying £4 a night for it

I've done 60 nights without paying a £4 (perhaps more for hook up) & will be for many years to come. So far = £240 saving. Works out to me!

But was that 60 night in a row! or 1 here 2 there ? if so a normal leisure battery cost a hell of a lot less than £220 will be much better value for money!

So my math might still be right!!!!!

so for the extra say £60. I know what I would want.

Just to add. I have 2 systems in my van. I have the usual under the seat 110Ah leisure & the trojans on a separate circuit. The leisure goes down so quickly I given up with it. The trojans just go on and on. Why anyone buggers around with normal leisure batterys is beyond me. I paid good money once and my trojans will outlast any leisure 4 times over!
