As it was previously a pop top it all just bolted on as I hoped.
Still needs a bit of adjustment but its got to come off for the respray anyway.

Looks a good job. It looks from the 6th pic that you have done the canvas as well. Was that hard? I'm looking to replace mine next weekend if the weather is OK. The bottom looks straightforward but the top looks like it might be quite fiddly. Any tips would be gratefully received.

Canvas not done yet, thats in the post (not literally). As the vans going for a respray very soon, I didn't want to do it twice but watch this space.

Such a pleasure seeing a hightop being removed for a change!

That's much better.

All that foam rubber at the front looked like a prime candidate for rust perforation horrors. Then under the plastic dinghy was proper Westy roof steelwork.
Got a mast for the tub yet or just a rower?

Nice to see you ditched the dinghy, much more pleasing on the eye :ok :ok

p.s. lower ferry prices also.

Rob.

We did our canvas this weekend and a couple of other roof related bits. I've put some pics on the link below and there are a lot more tips from other people which you might find useful (or then again you might fit pop tops for a living in which case please ignore this!)

That would have been handy on last Friday night!! It does add to the bank of info - he makes it look easy.
