Sliding window removal...

Post by choplee »

I have the sliding windows on both sliding doors. The 2 grey brush type seals between the sliding glass and the alu frames have broken down and need replacing.. Do the windows including frames have to be taken out the doors to get the glass out to replace the seals..??????
or can they be done in place ???
The seals look like old double glazing seals or fire door seals.

Just thought i'd ask before i start pulling rubbers off and making a mess...
:ok cheers guys .

Not sure where to get seals but If it is a factory fitted window you should be able to remove the glass while it's in the van :ok

I think they are factory standard ,as it is a twin slider Bus D then holdsworth converted it to a camper ....
The seals i'll find it's just getting the sliding glass out ...
