oil switch
hi, can anybody tell me please what colour the oil pressure switches should be on a 1987 2.1 wbx dj, ? i went to order a pair of new ones & it seems there is a few different colours, my engine has one brown & one white, can anyone shine a little light? thanks....

you need a 0.3 bar for the one between the pushrod tubes (I think brickwerks do one that's 0.25 bar)
and a 0.9 bar and brickwerks sell those too

It's always advisible, to check the VW part numbers, embossed on the original factory-fitted components.
Appropriate oil-pressure switches, are also available from Just Kampers.
Be aware that some oil-pressure switches are break-on-rising pressure, whilst others are break-on-falling pressure.

Brickwerks give you the part no's for the oil pressure switches
.... and there replacement No's for obsolete parts
JK offer a lot of stuff made of cheese from China, I only trust quality parts from quality parts suppliers
