Hi, Did you have to drop the engine a bit to chap the new seal in ? or was there sufficient room without dropping it?

Hi Jake,
There was sufficient room afterall, just a little awkward but i used a hard plastic tube (socket as Kev suggested that is big enough would certainly do) as thats all i had to hand which i cut down in length so it enabled me to get a hammer inbetween that and the heat cover of the exhaust (4/5 inches in length).

Thats good to hear. I bought a seal last autumn and thought... hmmmm one day. Shall attack it full of gusto now :wink:
