Has it been overfilled with oil at some point in it's life?
have you cleaned it to see if it's still happening?

No i thought i'd just take off the air ducting to have a look (only 1 nut on btw???). As you know i need to remove and clean it soon so wanted to see just how bad it was....

you need the other nuts...
it's not too bad I've seen a lot worse
It's coming from the crankcase via the breather

This being the other tube that connects to the air ducting not from the air filter?

yes it connects via a snaking hose to the black tower at the rear of the engine (front as you look at it)
