Hi Ladies and Gents

I am new here so be nice, I have just bought my first Van and need a few bits doing for an MOT (Don't they all) the main problem other than me being a novice is that the prevous owner has had som welding done but removed foot pedal and from what I can see it needs a plate to mount the the cable holder in the foot well about 3 inches by 3 inches anyone in chatham kent able to help me out and or come take a look to give me a few pointers.

I hope someone out there can Help.

Met Doc earlier today and showed him Edla's throttle to see how it is mounted. Have suggested that he posts some photos of the state of his throttle in the hope that someone can come up with a solution.

Spotted his van whilst walking Olly the other night and it will be great to see it out on the road.

thanks guys, when I get five minutes I will post some pictures. Think I have come up with an idea how I can do it :D pot riviting a small plate to cover the hole and then re mounting the bracket but again all help welcome as only got the use of the drive for four more weeks.

Thanks for letting me see your van earlier today. My house is 65 welcome to knock if your passing one evening with the dog.

trying to up load a picture to show the throttle issue but don't know how to do it? all advice welcome

not sure about the peddle mount ,maybe just needs a new peice welding in,but that plate he has had done looks ..interesting ..to say the least :shock:

Thanks for all your help guys sorted throttle out started it and have now discovered the brakes need a good overhaul and the idle needs setting. Any offers from the kent crowd would be appreciated and worth a drink or ten.
