Companies for semi interior refit?

Post by NOOG_monkey_II »

This may sound a little vague.... .....sorry if so......

....but I've been "convinced" I just dont have the time (skills?) to take on the van interior as well as the house DIY, new allotment etc etc.
Looking on the net and trying to search here I'm struggling to find anything but companies making great looking interiors that are sure to cost a pretty packet. I do have *some* money to throw at it, but Im on a budget (isn't everyone).
What I need is a company that works at a level below the multi-thousand pound refit but still actually know what they are doing...... and its any recommendations or suggestions to that end - obviously can travel within reason as well!

My vague list of stuff that needs doing:
1.reline the interior on the van and roof plus all the gubbins behind this: speakers etc, plus a new lino floor.
2. fit a useful electric system from the leisure battery - (it currently seems to power just one original light) - I want some retro sockets and the like.
3. A new rock and roll with 3 point seatbelt.
4. some new unit doors, taking me away from the mid-90s MFI bedsit look the last plonker got put in.

.....I might add Im trying to get more retro than modern looking - if it had its original Autohomes interior I'd be happy. I'm all about chucking in secondhand bits over new.

Thanks y'all for any pointers!
