Can anyone tell me if there dipstick has a rubber stop at the top of it when you fully insert it
The reason i ask is my dip stick is shaped like a walking stick with nothing at the top to tell me when it is fully inserted so i could be over or under filling with oil .
Does any one have a photo of 1990 1.6td dip stick
Thank from a novice

it should have a stop on it, which both seals the tube top and stops you over inserting i think....
