Fitting a CT engine into CU van

Post by ccarpenter79 »

Hi,

So after searching for a long time for a decent priced CU replacement engine I think I may have another decent option of fitting a CT engine. I understand the tappets aren't hydraulic (no probs). But what are the other issues?

I understand the exhaust ports are oval, does this mean new heat exchangers? This wouldn't be a problem as one of mine already needs replacing. Which ones would I need, ones to fit a Bay? Is the exhaust itself different?

Cheers.

Are sure you mean a CT 1.6ltr engine or a CJ 2.0ltr out of a bay.
