All new bumpers are reproductions and need some fettling. I got a rear one from custom and commercial and I needed to elongate one bolt hole by about 10mm. I think this is because the morons who make them drill the bolt holes to the specified distance and THEN form the bumper curve thus making the distance between the holes smaller. I then sprayed it black as they are only primed black. I am very pleased with it and I cannot see where I had to modify it once the bolt covers are on.

Post an advert in the wanted section if the above prices are steering you towards 2nd hand (which may be a genuine one). I am sure you could find one in good condition even if it may need a coat of paint.

Cruz what is the best paint to spray your bumpers to make then shiny black? Is it a few coats of primer followed by satin black? Thanks.
