Ok its just visible at the bottom of picture ... sorry for delay... black top of it with half of it not visible due to it being cut out by pic (theres a wire connector infront of it)
The fuel pump is not visible in that photo, the black circle is the top of the crankcase breather tower.

when i take the fuel filter off i can run water through a tap into it and although it pours out if i stop and dry it off there is clearly water or fuel or some kind of liquid trapped inside the filter , so im guessing i need a new one as i am sure there shouldnt be any liquid trapped in there and im not getting a nice clean squirt of fuel through to the carbs

If you're going to try to clean the filter, reverse flush it with petrol, not water. If you get the paper element wet the water you'll have to get it completely dry before refitting it.
2ltr Aircooled CU with twin Solex's & originally a 009 dizzie, but now back to standard.
Take a butchers at yours before you leave then ask to see 'inline petrol filters' in a decent motorfactors ... even Halfwits may have them ... and it's the larger of the 2 common types. As a guide our local motorfactor charges £1.30 inc vat.
DO NOT go into Halfwits and say "It's for a T25" or you'll be faced by goldfishes all round, remember they are only there cos they failed the audition for McDonalds

Hi Ian ... the pic was intended to show the oil breather tower, which was asked for by Elmo in a previous post prior to me posting it, due to me stating (incorrectly as i was not aware Elmo's engine being different ) that the petrol pump was next to it.
It is not what your club can do for you but what you can do for your club!!!! does that include trying to help? Il refrain from doing so and restrict myself to posting questions in the future
