We could be up for that one.

Sounds like a good opportunity for an ExPat meet up.

According to their website the event is booked up - http://www.lottermann-veteranen-treffen.de/
So we would have to camp somewhere else, Limburg an der Lahn is just up the road and it's a nice little town.

Or we could scrub that idea and go somewhere else (der Schweiz or France or Austria).

Yes we are going, will be in a assawn brown 1980 westy joker poptop. We normally camp at larhn camping limburg but this time as we forgot to book the site we will take pot luck and camp where we can. some very nice rare oldtimers there amoung the rusty lowered crap look busses that some how still get on the show field even though its for stock oldtimers only.(ex ssvc member)

hi all,

i'm easy, go to the meet or go elsewhere .i just fancied going to see all the nice old cars that will be there but if peeps have better ideas then i'm all ears and will be happy to tag along to wherever. let us know and we'll get something sorted. an expat meet up would be good though as maybe we could share contacts of wher to track down spares etc .oh and we could get smashed too :D :D :D

If you guys go to Bad Camberg, I'm up for an ex-pat meet. I wouldn't be able to go anywhere else as Friday 24th (the day it starts) is the day I land back in Germany after our 2 week holiday in Vegas and tootling along Route 66 :pimp

I'll then be leaving to go back to work on Monday 27th!

okay, bad camberg it is then. i'll make arrangements in work to get the friday and the monday off and then i'll look into the campsite in limburg about getting a spot booked for the weekend. any idea how much the camping costs around that area? i know from experience that prices differ massivley in different areas of germany. any other suggestions of good campsites in that area appreciated

No idea about camping around my area. But I'll ask my wife to ask friends/neighbours when I talk to her later (I'm on the rig at the minute). :ok
