I had one of these fitted to my van late last year. Sorted no end of clunking from the steering especially apparent over washboard tracks.

Any way of knowing how many syncros came with power steering? Seems the ones in oz all have power steering. I thought it was just standard.

no way of knowing, pretty rare in UK market, as it was in the car market generally back in the 80s, it would have been an expensive option, I don't think even the Tristars all had it, Aussies must be a bit limp wristed

nowadays everything has p/s it seems, they'll be putting it on kiddies toys next

actually I bet there is a kid's toy car with p/s made for the sheiks' kids, I've seen one that was gold plated; bring on the revolution
