Silent Gliss rails

Post by Bonfireboy »

Hi all.
Bought some nice new curtains but having a little trouble with the front one.
The original arrangement had flat aluminium bars above the doors, and a separate curtain on a wire which you hooked on and strung across the front.
My wife spoke to the curtain supplier who suggested that the more usual/better way is to use a Silent Gliss rail, which we bought.

Has anyone got any ideas or photo's on how to fit them?
They are extruded aluminium - is it possible to bend them round the cab without deforming the 'F' shape profile?
I'm having a little trouble visualizing it, especially around the sun visors.
Any help/photo's would be most welcome.
Cheers.
If it ain't broke... take it apart , that should do the trick!

under/over the sunvisors
1 peice or 2 peice split at the mirror!

depends who was fitting it and which company i think

best way to bend it is fill it with the curtain hooks(the ones that slide in the rail)where you are going to bend it ,this will help not to kink it.
