Interesting yes, but check the compressed length as we looked at something similar some time ago but with the small 2 1/2" springs found that the coils would bind up before full travel was achieved. Check out what Simon (Brickworks) has done as his use bigger springs with less coils so less chance of binding up.

Be good to hear how you get on, and makes us want to have another look at our setup mocked up years ago.

Will you be doing the same setup for the rear?

i`d like to dave but i think the rears will be a little more difficult. running coil overs on the rear dampers would require some serious strengthening of the mounts and running them in the standard placement would require some sort of swivel for the lower mount. this is just a play to see how things fit at the front. if it works then i`ll start looking in to spring and damper rates to see what would work. if i get something to work then i`ll hand it over to someone who`ll be interested in putting a kit together that will work with the avo shocks i run. lee. :ok
