Pulling hair out!!!
Trying to replace lower wishbone bushes.

Any tips on getting old out and new in??

Idealy a press, but I've read you can burn them out :shock:

Cut off one of the end mushrooms with a saw, Use a drill with reverse to drill out as much of the rubber as possible then it will come out.
To fit you need a metal tube/pipe the same diameter as the bush, threaded bar, some large washers and a couple of nuts, all can be got from B&q.
Make sure you use some soap for lubrication, and just wind it in.
This is how I did mine, pain in the a*** but doable. :ok

What a pain in the a*** job. :shock:

Getting there slowly, done exactly as you suggested. Does the trick !!!
Next time it's in to the vw garage down the road :lol:
