Nice one Andy that place could be a bit of fun for a Sunday and I would be up for giving it a go......... :ok

Our last outing went OK every body enjoyed the scenery and the burgers, BIG THANKS TO SHONA FOR HER GENEROSITY.
The day would have gone better if we had all set off at the right time and would have given us the time to explore that area better.
As it was we found a good free camping area and some green lanes for us to use after April so that makes the whole day worth while.......... :ok

As for meeting up at Halfxxds I'm OK with that as it is just a free car park with plenty of space most days and has every thing in the one place for any last minute needs before setting off....... fuel, food, petrol, hardware, toilets .etc.
Just seemed to be a good central location for heading up the Trossachs but as we team up to go various locations we can meet up anywhere that is easy to find as far as I am concerned just try and make sure there is a loo as some of us where waiting around for 2hours last week :| .

We have some good locations for more outings to Wild Camp and do a bit of fishing just waiting on some info on where and how much fishing permits can be obtained and to make sure we can make a weekend of it as it is a truly stunning location we have in mind.

So like you said lets keep the Scottish Syncro Owners on the go and get together more often and enjoy our Syncros..................... :ok

agreed, the meets will improve with the time of year too, was bloody cold up there!

not wanting to derail but this is a good place to make an offer to any of the folks who made the effort to come...

i took delivery of a new set of bfgoodrich mud terrains today, so my old ones need a home.
they are road legal, probably good for another 4 to 6 + months on tarmac. but i thought that as a second set for someone whos running ATs or road tyres, they would be a really nice 2nd set for off road play. ( just add your own wheels )
i replaced them because im using my wagon for my business and need the security of good, new tyres. they are 215 75 r15 bfg mud terrains (old pattern) and have been rotated regularly. (set of 4)
as i said, would be a good second set for someone who would pop em on for a weekend of offroad fun.
cheers,
Lug
