Three Nights in Argyll

F11 first then

Pause then

Click forward on the arrows.

Sometimes the captions get sleepy and don't bother to appear. A wiggle of the cursor will bring them back (but not all images have captions!)

I'll still be editing and adding, so if I've missed something, do let me know.

I hope you enjoy it.

Great, usual high standard of photography. How do you always get the weather right :?: My two weeks in Scotland only produced one day of Sun shine
Mmm what's that strange smell from my exhaust...

Thank you, both. Through snowy December, and ever since, I'd been watching the BBC's on-line weather forecast waiting for two full suns at Campbeltown.

Thank you, folks. I'm lucky to have been there at the time, and lucky to be sharing a little of how it was.

Funny old concept, luck, isn't it. Think about it too hard and you might go bonkers, religious, or both. :)

Thanx, dudes.

Now that I'm getting to feel a little more familiar with quite a few of the towns, villages and other locations I am enjoying enormously a recent purchase (£1.99 in a chazzer shop), Neil Munro's 'Para Handy', a large collection of short stories published in 1931 about life on and around a "puffer", the small steamboats that supplied almost everything to almost everywhere in the Highlands and Islands.

The real view (as opposed to the photographic view), made me feel more than a little dizzy / disorientated at the time. Really.
