anyone know where you can get the wires that run from the mechanism to the heater box as mine are a bit bent so dont ajust

Bit bent... Then bend em back!
Cant buy new as theyre obsolete

second hand... At a VW show or a breaker
or you could try and make some from piano wire of the same tensile strength
